”I love to collaborate and work with other people when writing songs. It´s very educational and refreshing to hear new hooks and chordcombinations. It sparks my inspiration and for most songs I still end up writing most of the the melody and lyrics. To me the process of creating a song together reminds me of raising a child. First everything is new and exciting and the song has every creative opportunity, then while growing up it builds a personality which often completely backfires on you in the studio when the song hits it´s revolting teens. Finally, when the song is mixed, mastered and pressed, it´s an adult leaving the nest for adventures of it´s own in the big world. I don´t have any kids yet, but so far my songs are doing a good job at keeping me busy and very happy.” |
